    Scientifica PatchScope

    Integrate your existing manipulators into a fully integrated patch clamp rig for cell culture.

    The Scientifica PatchScope is an ultra-stable, motorised inverted microscope. It is perfectly suited to patch clamp electrophysiology in cultured cells when you want to integrate your existing manipulators. The PatchScope can also be used as a standalone inverted microscope.

    It is ideal for many research areas, including neuroscience, cardiac and ion channel.

    Quickly change the fluorescence illumination and image

    The motorised fluorescence allows you to adjust the florescence filters without touching the microscope, improving the reliability of your delicate recordings.

    Built-in phase contrast

    Phase contrast is built into the microscope, enhancing the clarity and contrast of transparent samples, allowing you to observe fine details without staining. This feature simplifies your workflow, saves preparation time, and preserves the natural state of your samples.

    Record even the smallest electrophysiological signals

    The ultra-low noise electronics ensure you can record small signals (including single channel recording) and acquire the highest data quality every time.

    Choose your preferred controller to acquire data

    Control the focus, microscope and XY translation stage using a Control Cube or PatchPad- whichever you prefer.

    The PatchScope has been designed to be easy to service and maintain, minimising experimental downtime.

    Advanced control options

    Control the rig, hands free

    Control the focus, microscope and XY translation stage using our remote control options. Alternatively use our LinLab software.

    Position co-ordinates can be viewed, stored and recalled in LinLab, as well as configuring all aspects of the user interface to suit you.
